As you know I am passionate about supporting cystic fibrosis (CF) research and raising funds for health and exercise initiatives that will improve the lives of people with CF.
The recent Rugby for Research event was a great success and raised $35,000 and now we are planning a significant challenge for 2020 ... The Kokoda Track.
The plan is to set out from Kokoda Station and walk to Ower’s Corner (Japanese Advance). We will trek across the central spine of Papua New Guinea, visiting battle sites and gaining a first-hand appreciation of Papua New Guinea’s rugged beauty.
Dates: 19 -26 July 2020 (TBC)
Cost: $3,700 PNG flights, ex-Brisbane flights, transfers, equipment, Port Moresby accommodation, guides and porters.
CF Research Donation: $1500 (tax deductible)
